ESG Capital Daily Privacy Policy
Effective September 1, 2026 · Last updated September 29, 2026
ESG Capital Daily is a Daily Network specialist publication. This policy explains how The Daily Network (“Daily Network,” “we,” “us”) handles personal information through ESG Capital Daily, its newsletters, reader accounts, and related Daily Network services that link to this policy. It also explains the choices and privacy rights available to you.
Information we collect
Information you provide. We collect information you choose to provide, including your name, email address, job title, employer, account profile, newsletter selections, saved stories and topics, watchlists, alerts, survey or poll responses, messages to us, and information entered into calculators or other interactive tools.
Reading and product activity. We collect the publication, page, story, topic, firm, person, search, link, newsletter, and tool involved in an interaction, together with time, referral source, reading progress, and general engagement. We distinguish observed activity, information you declare, and conclusions our systems infer. A raw email-link request is not treated as confirmed human engagement unless separate interaction checks succeed.
Device and network information. We may collect browser and device type, operating system, referring URL, approximate location derived from network information, and security or diagnostic data. We may resolve a network address to a business organization, but our product analytics are designed not to retain a person-level IP address.
Email and subscription information. We collect subscription status, consent and suppression records, delivery, bounce, complaint, unsubscribe, reply, and confirmed link-engagement information. Automated security scans and other unconfirmed link activity are retained as operational telemetry and excluded from intent scoring.
Information from other sources. We may receive professional profile information from a sign-in provider you choose, publicly available professional or business information, and operational information from vendors that help deliver, protect, and measure the service.
We do not ask for sensitive personal information such as government identifiers, financial-account credentials, precise geolocation, health information, or biometric identifiers. Please do not submit sensitive personal information through our services.
How we use information
We use personal information to provide and secure the service; create and maintain accounts; deliver requested publications, newsletters, alerts, and saved workflows; authenticate readers; remember preferences across Daily Network publications; measure readership; improve editorial coverage and products; prevent fraud and abuse; respond to requests; maintain suppression and privacy-choice records; comply with law; and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
We may use reading and product activity to create audience, topic, firm, or workflow insights. Inferred interests are probabilistic signals, not facts supplied by you and not proof of an investment decision, transaction, purchase, allocation, or employment decision. We apply source, recency, identity-confidence, privacy-choice, and bot-screening controls before using identified activity.
Legal bases outside the United States
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we process information as needed to provide a service you request or perform a contract; for our legitimate interests in operating, securing, measuring, and improving a professional publishing service; with consent where required; and to meet legal obligations. You may withdraw consent at any time, and you may object to or ask us to restrict processing based on legitimate interests. These choices do not affect processing already completed lawfully.
How we disclose information
Service providers. We disclose information to vendors that perform hosting, database, security, authentication, analytics, email delivery, campaign administration, support, and similar services for us. They may use the information only to provide services to us or as otherwise permitted by law.
Daily Network operations. Daily Network publications use shared infrastructure, reader accounts, preferences, editorial measurement, and privacy controls. Activity on one publication may therefore support your experience and network-level measurement on another Daily Network publication.
Corporate events, safety, and law. We may disclose information in a merger, financing, reorganization, sale, or similar transaction; to protect readers, the service, or others; or when required by law or valid legal process.
We do not sell personal information for money or provide it to unaffiliated data brokers. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. Some laws define certain non-monetary disclosures or targeted uses as a “sale,” “sharing,” or targeted advertising; you can opt out through Privacy Choices.
Cookies and analytics
We use first-party cookies to maintain reader sessions, remember publication and subscription preferences, attribute visits, secure the service, and measure readership. Some cookies are short-lived; account sessions may last up to 30 days, and a pseudonymous reader identifier or a saved prompt preference may remain longer unless you clear it in your browser.
Where configured, Google Analytics operates only on public editorial pages—not administrative areas, reader workspaces, preference pages, or professional tools. Google signals and advertising personalization are disabled. Browser settings can block or remove cookies, although account and preference features may then stop working.
We recognize the Global Privacy Control signal as an opt-out of sale or sharing where required. Signed-in readers can also use Privacy Choices.
Retention
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose collected. The period depends on the type of information, whether an account or subscription remains active, operational and security needs, legal obligations, and the need to honor suppression or privacy choices. We retain a limited record of opt-outs, complaints, and deletion requests as needed to prevent future contact and demonstrate compliance. We delete, aggregate, or de-identify information when it is no longer reasonably necessary.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know or access personal information; correct inaccurate information; delete information; receive a portable copy; opt out of sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or certain profiling; object to or restrict processing; withdraw consent; and appeal a denied request. We do not discriminate against anyone for exercising a privacy right.
Submit access, deletion, or sale/sharing choices through Privacy Choices. For correction, restriction, objection, consent withdrawal, an appeal, or an authorized-agent request, email privacy@privatewealthdaily.com. We may verify your identity and authority before completing a request. If we cannot fulfill a request, we will explain why and describe any appeal right required by law.
You can unsubscribe from marketing or editorial emails through the link in each message. We may still send transactional, security, or privacy-request communications.
Security, transfers, and third-party services
We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information, including access controls, signed links, suppression controls, and separation of observed, declared, inferred, and operational data. No system can guarantee absolute security.
We and our providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where required, we use recognized transfer mechanisms and contractual safeguards. Links, identity providers, social networks, and other third-party services operate under their own privacy notices; their practices are not controlled by this policy.
Children
The service is intended for professionals and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our services, practices, or legal obligations. We will post the revised policy and update the date above; we will provide additional notice when required.
